Patient-Centric Projects

For us, human health and ensuring that patients receive accurate treatment are our foremost priorities. In addition to developing our pharmaceuticals, we are dedicated to supporting patients and their families through awareness initiatives related to diseases and treatments across our operational areas.

Our patient-centred projects aim to provide reliable information to patients and their families, support them throughout their journey, and foster awareness about diseases within the community.

Nadir-X is a social responsibility project aimed at raising awareness about rare diseases and supporting children who face bullying or social isolation due to their conditions. This initiative seeks to educate the public about these diseases and to reassure affected children that they are not alone. The project includes creating a comic book series highlighting children with rare diseases’ strengths, not deficiencies, and using various communication channels to convey their stories.

The Nadir-X comic series provides information about rare diseases and allows readers to witness the unique qualities, strength, and resilience of children with these conditions.

In 2023, the ‘Bakırköy Nadir-X Hero Search’ project was a resounding success, involving 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade students. It successfully distributed the Nadir-X comic to over 6,000 children across 20 primary schools through the Bakırköy District National Education Directorate. This project also facilitated a meaningful competition where students illustrated their rare heroes, supported peers with rare diseases, and inspired more involvement and support for similar initiatives.

“İyilik GENimizde Var” is a webpage featuring informational videos by expert physicians, a 6-step donor suitability test, and answers to frequently asked questions about stem cell and bone marrow donation provided by specialists. The project aims to educate the public about the importance of bone marrow donation, raise awareness, and ensure that potential donors do not hesitate to donate while properly guiding those who wish to contribute. Social media channels also support the webpage.

“Ayağına İyi Bak” project aims to raise awareness about diabetic foot problems in patients with diabetes, improve their quality of life, reduce complications, and address the personal, social, and economic issues associated with diabetic foot.

“Güç Geninde Gelecek Seninle” website and social media accounts, supported unconditionally by GEN, have been created to inform the public about Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
